Amazing stay it is basic in some parts but with everything else soon makes up for it fabulous little break

Staff location food was good amazing pools plenty of fun if you wanted to join in

We stayed in the Annex part and our room was very basic the bath chipped shower grab rail broken and lots of rust in bath lots of tiny ants

Charming hotel in a beautiful location

The location is superb and great value for money. The food was great and the hotel entertainment helped to create a really fun vibe at the hotel.

We were really looking forward to staying in the hotel - when we got there we were told we were staying in an apartment (‘annexe’) outside. I just did not think this was clear from booking (perhaps clearer from booking direct with Riu). It can work really well for a family but the apartment itself is dated and improvements need to be made (plaster walls, proper sofa bed in lounge). Another lone travelling female was surprised to be staying outside the hotel also and I think this is not ideal.

Could find nothing to complain about and would certainly return

The location was peaceful and views were spectacular . The cleanliness and standard of food made for a lovely stay . The staff were friendly , helpful and Reception staff quick to iron out any issues regarding room or requests ,Stayed in the annexe and had a ground floor apt , food was excellent , bar service friendly and drinks were served quickly by staff , only went to main restaurant once . It was nice to sit on the upper terrace in the main hotel with a coffee , wine or beer ( self service ) Afternoon tasty snacks served , either in main building or annexe

Nothing in particular apart from it could do with a bit of TLC in places , Found the food hotter in the annexe compared to main hotel

Excellent location and value for money

I particularly enjoyed taking part in the activities programme which were led by a wonderful, committed and professional team. As a solo traveller it was easy to meet and chat with others. The food was good with plenty of choice especially with the Canarian and Chinese restaurant options. The staff were excellent, the communal areas were good.

The corridors to the rooms in the in hotel are in a dreadful state, with threadbare carpets and stains. The rooms are old fashioned but adequate.

Very Good

Rooms are a bit old, but doesn't cause any negative issues. Got sparkling wine bottle for my mothers birthday. Was a pleasant surprise. Prime location, at the dunes, meters from the ocean. Fair value for money, especially considering friendliness of personnel at the bar

Both my mother and me got poisoned, most probably from water. As the water they serve at canteen isn't really drinkable quality for someone not used to it. So buy bottled water from the store in the hotel or just drink mochito :)

We enjoyed our stay very much.

Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. The bar staff were first rate. Swimming pools were very good. We have been to 3 other RIU hotels and all the items mentioned above matched them.

We were in the annex. Our accommodation was a bit tired looking. We hade 2 single beds instead of a double which we booked. Rumour was that the hotel being in a natural park was under threat from the local council in that they want it to be knocked down. This meant that RIU is not spending money and so wear and tear is evident.

Fabulous

We simply love the place, it’s great for families. The location in the dunes is superb. The hotel needs modernisation, but due to being in a nature reserve, this is very difficult to have permitted. You simply cant have it all! Staff are very lovely and food has a good selection. Being able to dine in the atrium and sometimes breakfast outside…

People reserve sun beds and keep them unused most of the day… annoying practice. One member of the animation team irritated me on this and a previous trip. More outside dining spaces would be great as it’s getting less and less every time we come. The serving spoons are touched by everyone and it allows for fast transmission of germs, I wish all guests were a bit more considered and use sanitiser prior attending the buffet always. It also would be appreciated if guests were given the choice to use their towels and beddings for as long as they want as it’s an unnecessary burden for the environment if they get changed daily, it’s not what our environment needs!

Really enjoyed, honest and humble place

No wifi in bedrooms,

Its a lovely place and so near to beach.. The food was good but would have been nice to have more variety.Very few Indian Asian food offerings etc
